Event description

Description

Learn how to make cozy reading lamps from upcycled Christmas Tree trunks locally harvested (from Troy Hill neighbors and the Strip District drop off). You'll learn how to use a cordless drill, a wood chisel, a soldering iron (optional), and gain some basic electricity knowledge. Each participant will leave with their very own reading lamp. Event is free (edison bulbs available at-cost). Ron's Pizza provided pro-bono, BYOB.

If you can't make the event, a write up is available on Instructables.

This event is part of a new initiative in Troy Hill (and perhaps someday the world...?) called Communiteach, and serves as this months Troy Hill "Firsty Thursday" happy hour event.

“Empower neighbors, foster leadership, and improve community interaction and empathy thru the sharing of common activities and interests.”
