Communications & Conversations

Communications play an increasingly important role in advancing higher education but sustainability professionals often wear many hats and planning communications and outreach can be difficult to manage consistently, purposefully. In order to truly be leaders in the sustainability movement, we must build capacity for impactful communications.

That is the goal of Communications & Conversations, a first of its kind conference for the higher education sustainability community. This two-day virtual conference will review best practices and guidelines in communications and guide sustainability professionals in practical skills ranging from graphic design to accessibility to behavior change. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and refine their own communications strategies as well as build their professional networks.

Scholarships:

A limited number of scholarships are available to individuals who need financial assistance to participate. Please apply using our Scholarship Application Form by June 27, 2022 to be considered for a scholarship for this conference.

Group Discounts:

Discounts are available for group registration. If you would like to register 2+ participants, please use our Conference Group Discount Form.

• Registration Fee for Groups of 2-7: full price for first registrants and 20% off for each subsequent registrant.
• Registration Fee for Groups of 8+: flat fee of $600

Registration Policies:

• Registration deadline is Monday, July 18, 5:00 p.m. ET.
• Payment is accepted in the form of credit card.
• If you need to pay by check or ACH, please email lisa@greenlmn.com by June 20, 2022. Registration using these forms of payment must be received 4 weeks prior to the conference and full payment must be received by Green LMN LLC within 2 weeks of conference (July 11, 2022).
• Cancellation Policy: A 20% processing fee applies to any cancellation prior to July 18, 2022. No refunds will be given after July 22, 2022.
• No substitutions are allowed.
