Event description

Description

In 2014, the citizens of Dallas experienced one of the most frightening public health crisis in the history of our nation when one single patient presented at a local emergency department with a diagnosis of Ebola, one of the deadliest diseases of our time. The crisis unfolded before the nation’s eyes on every form of media. This is a presentation of what happened and how an organized and prepared communications strategy can help bring calm in the midst of chaos. Michael Darrouzet will provide the case study of the Ebola Crisis in Dallas followed by a technical presentation by Pat Clark on how to work with the media when your organization/company has a PR crisis.
