Description

Deafness is one of the most common disabilities, and there are many ways to communicate effectively with someone who has difficulty hearing. This workshop will discuss Deaf culture and history, working with sign language interpreters, telecommunications relay services, assistive listening devices, and computer assisted real-time transcription.

[Note: This is not a sign language class!]
