About this event

Join the Montana Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for the 2022 Communicating Montana Forward Conference as we hear from National and local speakers specializing in community relations, leadership, digital marketing, gaining audience trust and strategic communication. With over ten speakers and two tracks, you'll be sure to find the right sessions for your needs.

In addition to outstanding, relevant speakers and workshop presenters, conference attendees will be offered multiple networking opportunities including a pre-conference Sunday evening social. Get to know your peers in a relaxing, fun environment featuring appetizers, door prizes, and a no-host cash bar.

Building Trust Across Fragmented Audiences

Description: This presentation addresses how organizations have struggled to reestablish pre-pandemic credibility due in part to audience fragmentation worsened by cultural and political debates waged over social media. I discuss new research that may provide keys for practitioners on how to design messages that foster client credibility while bridging fragmented audience needs.

Human storytelling should drive strategic communication. Zoom, virtual events, and COVID confusion have frayed that connection. This has created unfortunate consequences for agencies and clients. It has also opened the door to tremendous connections with people you could never have previously reached.

The conference will be held at the Northern Hotel in Billings, Montana - a discount for attendees and room blocks are available.
