Webinar: Communicate Justice 101

Center for Media Justice

Wednesday, December 19, 2012 - 3:00 p.m.

The Center for Media Justice will launch its first low-cost strategic communications webinar on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.

The first in the series, Communicate Justice 101, will provide basic training for communications newbies who want to learn about the news media—and how they are both an opportunity and an opportunity for and a potential barrier to social justice. Whether you’re a youth organizer who wants to learn about how to talk to reporters, or whether you’re an organizer of color who wants to tell your campaign story despite widely held stereotypes, or you just want to figure out what communications is all about, join the Center for Media Justice for this webinar packed with some of the tips and tools that are necessary to conduct effective media work. Some of the topics that will be discussed include communications tactics, newsworthiness, and basic audience targeting.

Don’t miss out! Register by Monday, December 17, 2012 to join. Cost: $30 or $20 for Media Action Grassroots Network members and past and current clients of the Center for Media Justice.
