CommQuest Services, Inc. in partnership with Mercy Medical Center and the Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Board will be hosting an Addiction & Recovery Symposium featuring keynote speaker and 2013 Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter.
The symposium will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Metropolitan Centre 3rd floor ballroom in downtown Canton, OH.
The afternoon will begin with continuing education trainings by presenters Dr. Jamesetta H. Lewis, DO of Mercy Medical Center from 1:00pm to 2:30pm and Dr. Steve Graef, Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and creator of Mindurance, LLC from 2:45pm to 4:15pm.
An exclusive meet and greet with Cris Carter for symposium sponsors and guests ONLY will take place on the rooftop terrace from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Exhibit space will be open to the public from 6:30pm to the start of the symposium at 7:00pm featuring various community resources.
The Addiction & Recovery Symposium will begin at 7:00pm in the ballroom (open seating). Ashley Perry will share her CommQuest recovery story before Cris Carter takes the stage to share "A Story Of Hope And Healing" as told by a Hall of Famer.
STATEMENTS OF ACCREDITATION
Mercy Medical Center is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Mercy Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per session. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (equal to 1.5 nursing contact hours per OAC 4723-14-05)
Mercy Medical Center is approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program will award 0.15 CEUs based on participation and will be issued at the conclusion of the activity.
In accordance with Ohio administrative code OAC 4761-9-05, CME credit is acceptable under Ohio law for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
