Description

An interdisiplinary Creighton University delegation participated in the Association of Jesuit Colleges and University's "Committment to Justice in Jesuit Higher Education" Conference this fall. Join us as we bring back the best of this conference: keynote speakers, Creighton presentations, and reflections. Lunch will be provided at this first of four sessions.

Keynote addresses and conference program are available at https://www.seattleu.edu/jesuit-education/justice-conference-2017/

This first session will include:

A video clip from keynote speaker: Eboo Patel • Founder and President, Interfaith Youth Core Diversity,“Faith and Justice: Tensions in American Society, Opportunities for Jesuit Campuses” .

Abridged Creighton Breakout session: Dr. Amy Lane, students and colleagues will share readings from their "Theater and Social Justice" projects which have focused on immigration and climate change.

There will be time built in for reflection in small groups and discussion on how to bring this back to our campus and share it more broadly.

Watch for more information about the upcoming sessions as well!
