The next Comidazo will be held at The Hotel Via Rooftop in San francisco on Saturday April 18th, 2020 from 5PM-8PM.

This exclusive event will be open to 300 food enthusiasts from around the bay Area.

Comidazo is a food and music platform collaboration by Bay Area food aficionado and business strategist, Armando Tam & veteran promoter Tony Orellana.

On April 18th, Armando and Tony are teaming up with long time friend and promoter Adrian Goddard of Jaffe Events for an unforgettable experience on the roof top at the Hotel VIA.

According to Tam, “Comidazo is combining the cultura and food of the Bay Area in a dynamic event that one day expects to attract thousands of attendees from all over the country AND become the largest gathering of food and music in San Francisco”

Comidazo’s goal is to elevate and tell the stories of a curated group of chefs of color. Chefs and cooks of color represent over 70 percent of the culinary industry nationally.

The Comidazo vision is to create a platform to showcase chefs of color. Each dish is curated for each event specifically and we always produce dishes that you won’t typically be able to order at a restaurant. The creativity is raised by the chefs and so is the taste and visual experience of the attendees.

Chef Ricky - of 510CajunCatering will be featuring a taste of Cajun flavors including his own boudin.

Chef Jennifer - from La Fritanguera has a goal of bringing Nicaraguan cuisine to the masses with a twist that she’s learned along the way.

Chefs Ann and Sheneen - specialize in combining California cuisine with that delicious dirty south flavor. Come and meet the team behind Catered with Class.

Chef Mauro - from Baja Cali taqueria and grill brings us his Mexican food but with an interpretation of his family recipes that have been passed down.

Each of Comidazo’s chefs will present 4 tasting unique dishes for attendees. In addition to having a compelling food experience, Comidazo will also feature a tasting of a wide array of spirits, including Tequila, Mezcal, Rum, Whiskey and Wine.
