Comfort Measures for Labor and Birth 2016
A certified childbirth educator, will teach you and your support person comfort measures and relaxation techniques to help you during your labor and birth. Topics covered include relaxation, breathing excercises, birthing balls and massage. A basic knowledge of Prepared Childbirth education is essential to getting the most out of these techiniques. It is highly recommended that you attend a childbirth education class BEFORE taking this course. Be advised that this course covers comfort measures and relaxation techniques only. It does not cover the labor and delivery process.
Location: This class will take place on the second floor of The Medical Library on Our hospital campus unless otherwise specified.
What to bring: Please wear comfortable clothing (a pillow is optional).
