Comfort Friday: Juggling scarves and challenges (for charity)
Event Information
Description
In this playshop, kids and adults will learn how to juggle scarves as well as challenges. In a time of stress and crisis, it's important that we build our physical and mental health skills to adapt to a changing environment, right? Learning to juggle builds handy neural pathways that will help you grasp and reach and intuit in this new world that we're building together.
All you need are a few scarves, or plastic bags, or even balled-up socks.
Partners and children are helpful, and usually comedic, but not necessary.
Kevin O'Keefe, aka Circus Minimus, is the co-creator (with Erin Maile) of CircusYoga.com and has taught thousands of humans to juggle, including playshop host Susan Comfort. Even though Susan doesn't practice much, learning the three ball juggling sequence was a neural breakthrough that convinced her she could do (other) hard things. Kevin and Maile and Susan have playfully facilitated many interactive circles of humans and look forward to making similar fun in an online world.
