In the continued celebration of Israel's Independence, with four inspirational and hilarious immigrants to Israel, who bring unique stories and funny to the stage.
Joan Weiner Levin has been making American audiences laugh for well over a decade, along the way winning The Jewish Week's 'Funniest Amateur Comedian in New York' contest. Since her Aliyah in 2014, she has brought the perspective of a religious Jewish mother's laughter to Israel.
Elazar Brandt made aliyah in 1996 in order to commit senseless acts of simcha in Jerusalem and throughout Israel. Former US Army helicopter pilot, now known as "Doctor Jazz", Elazar has been playing the banjo for nearly 50 years...and he's going to keep on doing it until he gets it right. He began doing stand-up comedy after meeting David Kilimnick on a mission to entertain people living in shelters in the north during the 2nd Lebanon War in 2006.
Hani Skutch The laughter of Rechovot, headlining stages and connecting with audiences around Israel and abroad. Her warmth and original look at life will keep you laughing and her family worrying.
Joel Haber Affectionately known as 'Fun Joel.' Joel brings a sense of happiness and friendliness to the stage, as he shares the comedic tour guide insight, which he is licensed to give in Israel.
Host: David Kilimnick Dubbed Israel's "father of Anglo comedy" by the Jerusalem Post, David was the first israeli comedian to make it to the finals of the 'Funniest Person in the World' Contest.
