The Comments Section (A Stand-Up Comedy Show)

Wednesday evenings (7-9pm) @ Capitol Cider House

The comments section is the best part of most articles. That's why we've anthropomorphized it into a comedy show!

In this show, a comic does their set, while four commenters write comments on comment cards. Then, the host reads the funniest aloud as our comic receives their suggestions. You'll get to see into the unholy minds of some of DC's best comics, kibitz in real-time as they burn, bully and troll each other and (hopefully) experience some organic moments and found comedy.

The stand-up will be funny, but the real show starts when the stand-up sits down.

Capital Laughs is a group of comedians who want to create something fun and new for the DC arts scene.
