Come Play! Acroyoga and Circus Skills JAM!
Sat, April 22, 2017, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM BST
Come along and have a play, bring out your inner child!
We are having an Acroyoga and Circus Jam this (and every) Saturday, connecting all the playful spirits in Reading into one place!
What Is Acroyoga you ask? Well... Acroyoga is a fun and beautiful practice that combines the dynamic wisdom of acrobatics, the awareness, breath and balance of yoga and the healing, loving nature of Thai massage. It has many benefits not limited to strength building and exercise, there are also the mental health benefits. Acroyoga breaks down trust barriers many of us face in our everyday lives, builds communication and partner balance improves concentration. Best of all we get to have a laugh together!
At the jam there will be mats, space to play, practice what you know and people to share with you what they know. All abilities welcome, including complete beginners. The jam is with Reading University Circus Arts Society, and so there will be endless amounts of circus toys to play with, music to jam to, new skills to learn and people to meet!
Drinks after the Jam at Mojo's bar.
Saturday the 25th of March we will be in a different location, check event for full details: https://www.facebook.com/events/1362658480422390/
We also have 'Beginners Acroyoga Classes' every Thursday at Wokingham Waterside Centre, 6-30 to 8-30. More details can be found at www.kingwilliam.uk or call me 0772 383 8083.
This is a by free event but we will have a donation pot if you would like to contribute to keeping the Reading's acroyoga community growing.
