About our presenters


Matthew Stewart FACP

Specialist Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, M.Hlth.Sc (Sports Physio), B.App.Sc (Physio), B.Sc (Syd)
Matthew graduated with distinction from the University of Sydney in 1997 and completed his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2001. He attained Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2008 and is the only Specialist Sports Physiotherapist in Western Sydney. A former professional rugby league player, he has a unique insight into injury mechanisms and the recovery process. He has extensive experience in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation, specialising in ankle, knee and shoulder injuries. Matthew is a consultant physiotherapist for the Parramatta Eels NRL team and also a clinical educator and lecturer for the University of Sydney, La Trobe University and Sports Physiotherapy Australia.


Nick Wigger

Director & Physiotherapist / Expert in Sports and Chronis Pain Management

Nick is an experienced Physiotherapist and Director with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University. His career spans hospital and private practice settings, giving him a broad understanding of physiotherapy. Passionate about sports, he has provided on-field physiotherapy at major events, excelling in high-pressure situations.

As the founder of a successful private practice in Queensland, Nick’s entrepreneurial drive and commitment to patient care shine through his innovative approach. His qualifications include Level 2 DMA Pilates, Level 3 Gemt Trigger Point Dry Needling, ISMST-certified Shockwave Therapist, and Level 2 Physiotherapy Instrument Mobilization (PIM). Specializing in chronic pain management, he focuses on Radial Shockwave Therapy and High Power Laser Therapy, delivering effective treatment outcomes.
