Event description

Description

Every day, we hear how Muslims are targeted unfairly by government, media, individuals -- stereotyped as terrorists, banned even if they have legal visas, victimized by hate crimes. Please join the St. Louis Anti-Racist Collective (ARC), Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC), and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) for an important workshop:

Combating Islamophobia: Understand it. Resist it.

Learn and explore:
  • What is Islamophobia and how does it operate on individual and institutional levels?
  • What is liberal Islamophobia?
  • How does Islamophobia intersect with other forms of oppression and racism?
  • How can we resist Islamophobia together?
Space Limited! Register soon!

Childcare available upon request. (see registration form!)
Snacks provided.
Suggested donation $5 at the door - nobody turned away for lack of funds.
