ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Columbus Web Group's Weekend Workshops are designed to help educate the community of Columbus on specific topics lead by experts. All workshops are free of charge and are targeted to the audience.
There are many aspects of learning a programming language, but one of the most difficult parts is knowing where to start and how to do it correctly. This Weekend Workshop is aimed at designers, developers, students or anyone that has ever wanted to learn CSS. The workshop will cover the core of CSS, focus on specificity in CSS, CSS inheritance, and best practices of writing CSS.

Introduction to CSS and best practices of writing CSS.
Who this course is for:
- Developers that are looking to grow their CSS knowledge
- Designers that want to know how CSS works and how to improve their UI design skills
- Individuals that are beginning to learn front end development

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kevin is the Creative Director for Cardinal Solutions Group where he focuses on digital strategy, branding, and creative-based solutions. His background includes creating user experiences around web interfaces and crafting of large-scaling websites and applications. Kevin is the co-founder and organizer of The Columbus Web Group where he actively participates in growing and educating the community around design, development, best practices and standards for the web.
