The National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative is the largest health initiative for minorities in the state of Ohio. The 2017 - AAWalk in Columbus, Ohio hosted over 20,000 people, and conducted more than 800 individual health screenings. The purpose of the National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative is to raise awareness for preventable health diseases. This is executed by offering and conducting several Health screenings during our Annual Main event, and mini events throughout the year.
