HERO Code Camp is a weekend-long virtual event for girls in grades 3-12 interested in STEM and coding. The camp empowers girls to identify with computer science and gain the confidence to become creators and designers.

The program is designed to give beginner students an introduction to STEM and offer more experienced students an additional opportunity to sharpen their skills and learn new things.

At this info session, you will:

Hear from industry leaders on the basics of STEM, the computer science field, and the importance of providing girls opportunities to explore their potential to become a creator or designer
Understand what to expect from HERO Code Camp 2023, taking place virtually February 25-26
Have the opportunity to have any questions you may have about the program answered

The agenda for the info session will be as follows:

6:00 - 6:30 — Sign in, enjoy light snacks and get settled
6:30 - 7:00 — STEM & coding expert panel discussion
7:00 - 7:30 — HERO Code Camp 2023 overview & audience Q&A
7:30 — Wrap up

Location: The info session will take place at Columbus School for Girls (65 South Drexel Avenue Columbus, OH 43209)
Parking: Parking lot is off the main entrance off Drexel Avenue. If needed there is street parking.
