Join Columbia Alumni Association in partnership with Columbia University School of the Arts and CAA Arts Access to celebrate Columbians in Film at the 15th Annual Tribeca Film Festival on April 17 with a special Columbia private screening of Deb Shoval’s '13SOA (Film Program) film AWOL, a beautiful romantic drama that is both tender and tough about a small town girl.

Before the screening, join fellow Columbia alumni for a light reception in celebration of #ColumbiansInFilm by rolling out the CAA Blue Carpet. Tickets are limited. The program continues after the screening with Maureen Ryan '92SOA, Chair of the Film Program at Columbia University School of the Arts, who will be in conversation with director Deb Shoval and producers L.A Teodosio ’15SOA and Jessica Caldwell ’12SOA, and Andrew Hauser ’12SOA, Post Production Supervisor, to discuss the making of the film, their influences, and what it means to be a Columbian in Film. We are excited to bring you this program as part of the year-long celebration of Columbia University School of the Arts’ 50th Anniversary.

The reception will take place at 6pm at Harry's Italian, located at 225 Murray Street, New York, NY 10282.

The film screening will take place at 7:30pm at Regal Battery Park Stadium, located at 102 North End Avenue, New York, NY 10282. Seating begins at 7:15pm.
