August 2017 Epigenetics Boot Camp

Due to high demand for the June 2017 Epigenetics Boot Camp, we have opted to offer a second class this summer on August 21-22, 2017.

Overview: This two-day intensive workshop of seminars and hands-on analytical sessions will provide an overview of concepts, techniques, and data analysis methods utilized in environmental epigenetics studies. Students and investigators at all career stages are welcome. Basic familiarity with R is is strongly recommended in order to obtain the most value from the workshop - if you are unfamiliar with R, we have tutorials linked on our website for review prior to the Boot Camp.

Keynote Speaker: The keynote speaker for this workshop is to be determined.

Instructors: The August 2017 Epigenetics Boot Camp will be led by Dr. Andrea Baccarelli and colleagues from Columbia University, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Together, the instructors have 31 years of combined experience in environmental epigenetic studies.

Logistics: There is a limited capacity for this workshop. Registration fee covers course material, breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Personal computers are not needed for the Boot Camp as all data sessions will be conducted in a computer lab. For more information and to subscribe to updates, please visit our website.
