A year ago, 30 aspiring documentarians traveled to New York from accross the world and several cities in the United States with a shared goal of learning journalism and filmmaking.
On Saturday, December 10 and Sunday December 11 you can see the results. Starting at 11 a.m. in the Lecture Hall, the Columbia Journalism School’s Documentary Class of 2016 will screen their short documentaries. It’s a great chance to celebrate the work of tomorrow’s filmmakers. DocFest is open to the public free of charge.
The directors, and in some cases their subjects, will be there to answer questions after screening their films. There will be a reception at 5pm in the World Room.
We hope you can join us!
