How can a strategic use of colour promote and improve health and well-being? How does colour affect mood and productivity? Is there such a thing as colour psychology?
The presentation will showcase how colour applied in a strategic, evidence-based and user-centred way, either in public, healthcare or residential environment, can positively impact spatial perception, mood, motivation, behaviour, safety, health and well-being.
Colour is far more than decoration. It is a powerful sensory medium that influences how we feel and how we behave. Colour directly impacts the autonomic nervous system and the emotional state.
Supported by the evidence-based research on the effects of colour on well-being, healing and performance, we will look into how can colour and environmental colour design be used to promote relaxation, healing and concentration or foster communication and social interaction.
Presentation will be delivered in English.
