About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours
  • ALL AGES

Join us for an inspiring evening as we hear from four established designers of colour working in Scotland. This event will spotlight their unique creative journeys, the challenges they've navigated, and the opportunities they've embraced within Scotland's design industry.

Whether you're a student, emerging designer, or industry professional, this is an opportunity to gain valuable insights, ask questions, celebrate, and connect with a supportive creative community.

The event is open to everyone! We warmly welcome allies, collaborators, and anyone interested in building a more representative and connected creative scene in Scotland.

This event marks Colour Theory’s first major public gathering: a moment to connect, reflect, and celebrate BPOC creative voices. We’re creating a platform to amplify stories that are often left out of mainstream design spaces. It’s about reclaiming visibility, fostering solidarity, and building a more representative creative culture in Scotland.

This event is pay-what-you-can. We recommend a minimum of £3 to help cover costs. Your contribution will help us cover future venue costs, and continue building an inclusive space for BPOC creatives. If you’re unsure which to pick, choose the price that feels most fair for you. We do not gain any profit from ticket sales.
