Description
THANK YOU for your interest in volunteering to help kick off the Colorado Symphony's 2013/14 concert season. This is a unique run/walk where participants will experience and create live music along the course!!

Volunteer Roles Include:
PRE-EVENT SETUP
Arrival Time: 6:00am
Aid in setting up the pre-race registration area, placing banners, setting up the refreshment area and vendor booths, and placing all trash boxes with liners.
REGISTRATION
Arrival Time: 7:00am
Assist with event-day registrants, bibs, timing chips, and distribution of t-shirts.
DIRECTIONAL STAFF
Arrival Time: 7:30am
Direct foot traffic at the event and answer questions when needed.
CHEERLEADERS
Arrival Time: 8:00am
Provide encouragement along the course! Bring your noisemakers and megaphones and help us rally for the Colorado Symphony 5K racers.
MUSIC STATIONS
Arrival Time: 8:00am
Man a music station and encourage participants to create music as they pass.
WATER STATIONS
Arrival Time: 8:00am
Set up water station tables, pour water into cups, and hand out water before the participants start, along the course, and at the finish line.
COURSE MARSHALS
Arrival Time: 8:00am
Volunteers are positioned along the race course to provide safety for the runners/walkers from automobiles, bikes, and other participants.
FINISH LINE
Arrival Time: 8:30am
Provide back-up timing assistance, remove timing chips, and herd finishers into post-event area.
POST-EVENT TAKE DOWN
Arrival Time: 10:00am
Help in taking down post-event expo, emptying trash, and cleaning up event area.
