Description

Do you love hiking and dream of exploring the iconic Rocky Mountains of Colorado? Prepare to have you mind mesmerized and your muscles warmed up as you discover the most extraordinary of landscapes with Devata Active. Backpacking the mountains of Colorado is one of those activities that everyone has to experience for themselves.

July is the most ideal time to backpack in Colorado. The great state is home to arguably some of the most spectacular and diverse hiking trails in the country. You can expect waterfalls, alpine lakes, wildlife, thick forests, open meadows, wildflowers, and spectacular panoramic views. But with so many hiking trail options, it can be intimidating to know where to begin. Luckily for you, Devata Active has organized a 3-day Summer Backpacking excursion to experience the majestic wilderness of Colorado.

Please note, attending our Intro to Backpacking Course & Retreat is a mandatory prerequisite to attend the Colorado Backpacking Retreat.

The Intro to Backpacking Course is being offered Saturday, April 1st, 2017.

The course includes – 3 workshops (April 1st, 15th, & June 3rd) packed with information about backpacking essentials. You’ll build confidence in your outdoor skills and lay a foundation which will allow you to continue your backpacking adventures in the future.
