About this event

For Ages 18+ – This is a class fully dedicated to studying color! We will create color and value scales as well as learn about mixing colors using acrylic paint, watercolor, and colored pencil. All projects will center around understanding color and its many intricacies, including the role it can play in your own artwork. Short readings from Interaction of Color by Josef Albers and The Secret Lives of Color by Kassia St. Claire will be included in our studies. We will look at many different artists for inspiration.
