College of Physicians Story Slam
Event Information
Description
The seven metropolitan Philadelphia medical schools are each invited to field a team of two storytellers—one medical student and one physician or medical student at any level of training or practice. Each individual contestant will have 5 minutes to tell a medically-related story. Storytellers may speak with or without notes, and at the end the audience will select the three best stories.
Schools may identify their storytellers in any way they see fit. This can be simply by inviting submissions and choosing or by organizing a local story slam as a trial.
Please submit your storytellers’ names and contact information to douglas.reifler@temple.edu by April 20.
This event is open to the public to attend.
The Mütter Museum will not be open during this event.
