The College of Nursing's Traditional BSN program is designed to develop highly qualified, caring professionals to meet the healthcare needs of individuals, families, and populations.

The Traditional BSN is a full-time, six-semester, upper-division option for students who have completed 28 credits and prerequisite coursework. The Traditional BSN Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing. Graduates qualify to take the NCLEX-RN, the licensure examination for eligibility to become a registered nurse.

This is a chance for prospective MSU students currently in high school to meet with the program advisor to learn more about the program, admission prerequisites, application, and admissions processes. Attendees are encouraged to visit our website ( prior to attending.

  • Friday, September 22 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C125
  • Friday, October 20 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C125
  • Friday, November 17 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C125
  • Friday, February 16 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C160
  • Friday, March 16 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C125
  • Friday, April 20 - 3:30-4:30p in Room C125
