Rochester Art Collectors is collaborating with Art Fair 14C, Rochester Contemporary Art Center, RoCo Upstairs and the 15 artists who have been selected to exhibit at Art Fair 14C to present a COLLECTORS PREVIEW SALE that includes a talk by Robinson Holloway, Director of Art Fair 14C

This is a one night only opportunity. The event is free to registered guests.*

Please enter through the main entrance at Rochester Contemporary Art Center and check in at the front desk.

Program Description & Schedule:

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm:

Check out "Ra Cha Cha!: Artists Living and Working in Rochester, NY," a group show curated by Annalisa Barron featuring 15 artists chosen to exhibit at Art Fair 14C in Jersey City, NJ in November, 2022.

These works represent the city’s shifting social landscape post COVID-19 and the unique aesthetics of an artist community contending with red-lining and inequality while still celebrating its strengths - making the top 10 list for the most friendly cities in the U.S. for the LGBTQ+ community.

All proceeds from this event will go to supporting these artists; travel expenses, lodging during the fair, booth fees and professional development costs such as business cards, etc.

Featured Artists:

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm:

James Tabbi, representing Rochester Art Collectors, will welcome attendees and introduce Annalisa Barron who will talk briefly about RoCo Upstairs and the 15 artists who have been selected to exhibit at Art Fair 14C

Annalisa will introduce our featured speaker, Robinson Holloway, Director of Art Fair 14C.

Robinson Holloway will talk about the history and founding principles that drive Art Fair 14C .

6:30 pm - 7:00 pm:

Stick around and take another look at the exhibition. Make your final choices and pay for the works you've selected.

"Ra Cha Cha!: Artists Living and Working in Rochester, NY" will be open to the general public after 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Rochester Contemporary Art Center charges a small general admission fee beginning at 6:00 pm.

This event is free to registered guests*. You must register in advance here on Eventbrite and enter before 6:00 pm if you would like to attend.

Please note although entry into the event is on the ground level the program space is upstairs. There is no elevator.

You do not have to be a member of Rochester Art Collectors, RoCo Upstairs or Rochester Contemporary Art Center to participate at this event. You do not have to be affiliated in any way or attend Art Fair 14C to patriciate at this event.

Robinson Hollowaycreated Art Fair 14C as an initiative of the Jersey City Arts Council in 2018 while Chair of the JCAC Board of Directors.

The founder of two non-profit galleries, including Village West Gallery in Jersey City, Holloway also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the London based Association of Women Art Dealers.

She is also involved in her community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce as well as co-chair of the Hudson Gives Steering Committee. She is also the Vice President for Communications for the Village Neighborhood Association.

Her focus on the arts came after a long career in sports journalism, focusing on PGA Tour coverage for Sports Illustrated, ABC Sports, ESPN and Golf Channel.
