How to be an effective Collaborative and Sustainable Entrepreneur? How to grow one's business through benefiting others' ventures?

CSL - Collaborative Seed: Weekly discussions on Sustainable & Collaborative Entrepreneurship.

Collaborative Seed is an extended workshop on collaborative and sustainable entrepreneurship. The workshop empowers individuals to start their own ventures focused on collaboration with holistic social and ecological ethics in comparison with linear competitive entrepreneurship. Collaborative Seed is composed of three main parts; outlined as follows:

Part I - Introduction:
- Social activity: Communicating PIEs
- Observation activity: Roles & Definitions
- Collaboration vs. Competition: Pros & Cons
- Open source entrepreneurship & navigation: licensing, forking, crowd-sourcing, crowdfunding...
- Collaboration ethics

Part II. Collaborative Economy:
- What is the collaborative economy?
- How measures taken towards sharing have manifested in existing organizations
- Interesting Business Models to consider
- How the collaborative economy manifests in shared spaces?
- How to contribute to a collaborative economy

Part III. Permanent Culture
- What are the major problems we are facing as a society?
- What can we learn from wild communities in nature?
- Introduction to Permaculture ethics, principles & common techniques
- Solutions learned through Permaculture.
- Where to start?

These sessions will be kid-integrated! If you are a parent, you may participate in this discussion while your kid(s) are learning/teaching on the side! Please inform us that you are coming with your kid(s)!

Note: Attending all the sessions is recommended for best digestion of information, but it is not obligatory. You may miss some sessions and attend others, each session is designed to be adaptable and independently full of useful information.

Collective Self-Teaching (CSL) are sessions of teaching/learning where interested individuals get together to share knowledge, expertise and ideas about specific topics. CSL is part of Collective Self-Empowerment (CSE) sessions; which are a series of discovery workshops aimed at empowering individuals and communities through sharing knowledge & experience. CSE sessions are based on open to the public based on "pay-as-you-can" donations. Seats per session will be limited.
