How to be an effective Collaborative and Sustainable Entrepreneur? How to grow one's business through benefiting others' ventures?

Collaborative Seed is an extended workshop on collaborative and sustainable entrepreneurship. The workshop empowers individuals to start their own ventures focused on collaboration with holistic social and ecological ethics in comparison with linear competitive entrepreneurship. Collaborative Seed is composed of three main parts; outlined as follows:

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Part I - Introduction:
- Social activity: Communicating PIEs
- Observation activity: Roles & Definitions
- Collaboration vs. Competition: Pros & Cons
- Open source navigation: licensing, forking, crowd-sourcing, crowdfunding...
- Collaboration ethics

2:15 pm - 3:30 pm
Part II. Collaborative Economy:
- What is the collaborative economy?
- How measures taken towards sharing have manifested in existing organizations
- Interesting Business Models to consider
- How the collaborative economy manifests in shared spaces?
- How to contribute to a collaborative economy

3:45 - 5:00 pm
Part III. Permanent Culture
- Introductory activity: What are the major problems we are facing as a society?
- Observation activity: What can we learn from wild communities?
- Introduction to Permaculture ethics & common practices
- Where to start? Solutions learned through Permaculture

This workshop is open to the public on a pay-as-you-can basis (suggested donation of $5).
