Collaborative Research: Practical Skills for Teamwork and Reproducibility with Friederike Hillemann

Join us at Liverpool John Moores University for a hands-on workshop on enhancing your research skills! This event is perfect for researchers looking to improve their collaboration abilities and make their work more transparent. Effective collaboration is at the heart of high-quality, reproducible research. This session explores what good teamwork looks like in practice—from intuitive file naming and changelogs to parallel workflows and peer code review. Building on concepts from previous workshops, Friederike will demonstrate how practices like task-based script organisation and reproducible workflows benefit both individual researchers and collaborative teams. The session also includes a brief introduction to using GitHub for collaborative research.

Please bring your own laptop to code along with Friederike!
