Event description

Description

This event is part of Spring Forward: Spring Forward is a month-long celebration of the role of women in digital culture and runs throughout March in parallel with Women's History Month.

Take part in this hands-on (and very lightly physical) workshop that gives you the opportunity to explore the way you collaborate with others.

Throughout the session you'll take part in a series of enlightening and playful exercises to help you get a stronger sense of who you are as a collaborator, and develop a deeper sense of empathy for the people you're collaborating with. By the end of the session, you'll also have a set of very practical of tools to take away and use with your teams in a day to day working environment.

This workshop covers:

  • The nuts, bolts and practicalities of (digital industry) collaboration
  • Playful exercises to develop a shared language with people in other disciplines
  • Reflective exercises to help you understand and challenge your own tendencies in collaborative environment
  • Developing confidence to put your ideas forward in a large group

Important notes about the workshop:

1. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing as one or two of the activities in this workshop may be lightly physical.

2. Arrive at 9.45 for a 10am start.

3. This is a very small workshop and in high demand, if you can't make it do let us know in good time so that we can fill your place on the waiting list.

3. This workshop is free because it is the first of its kind and designed to run at conference and events in future. We therefore value your feedback at the end of the session.
