Collaboration In Rehabilitation Conference

Date: Thursday 16th October

Location: Horizon Leeds

Following the success of the 2024 "Collaboration in Rehabilitation" conference, jointly hosted by Positive OT & Case Management, Healing Touch, and IntoSpeech, we are excited to announce our next inspiring event — bringing professionals, clients, and experts by experience together to champion best practice in rehabilitation.

This year’s conference will celebrate the strength of true interdisciplinary working — with a special focus on managing conflict within Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) and the positive impact of neuropsychologists leading IDTs to support collaboration and better outcomes.

Throughout the day, we will also hear directly from people with lived experience of receiving IDT input — exploring how individuals who have been through rehabilitation can become key players in IDTs and offer invaluable support to others just starting their rehab journeys.

All profits from this event will be proudly donated to The STEPS Foundation and Little Hiccups Charity, two incredible organisations making a real difference in their communities. We are delighted to also welcome representatives from these charities, who will be sharing insights into the fantastic work they are currently doing to support individuals and families facing life-changing challenges.

Agenda Highlights:

🔹 Early collaboration in litigation and rehabilitation
🔹 Neuropsychology in rehabilitation: How neuropsychologists can strengthen IDT leadership
🔹 Managing conflict in IDTs: Practical strategies to keep client outcomes at the centre
🔹 Creative therapies in rehabilitation: The role of music therapy
🔹 Partnering with people with lived experience
🔹 Hear directly from The STEPS Foundation and Little Hiccups about their vital community work
🔹 Wellbeing and resilience session to close the day
