Description
We will be holding an amazing ColdBox BootCamp before this year's CF.Objective 2013 conference from May 13th to the 15th. The schedule of courses we will be offering are the following:
- May 13-14: A combination of CBOX 100 and 101 led by ColdBox creator Luis Majano
- May 15: CBOX 204 Testing, Mocking, Stubbing, Oh My! led by ColdBox creator Luis Majano
- Take all courses BootCamp

CBOX 100 - Intro To ColdBox
Intro to ColdBox is an intense 1 or 2 day training course that will get you started with ColdBox Application Development. This course focuses on the main aspects of ColdBox Development and it delivers a one-two punch to get you started. You will get hands on experience and an in-depth overview of the main development aspects of the ColdBox Platform as it is applied to MVC web development.

CBOX 101 - Core ColdBox
The Core ColdBox course not only focuses on explaining what ColdBox is and its bounty of features, but also on fundamental web application architectural concepts. It is important to know how to use certain parts of the platform, but it is even more important to know when to use them. This course will will enhance your application toolbox and architectural skills.

CBOX-204: Testing, Mocking, Stubbing, Oh My!
CBOX-204 is one of our advanced courses that focus on testing principles, TDD (Test Driven Development), mocking and ColdBox application testing. In this 1-day course you will be exposed to testing theory, types of tests, working with MXUnit, application testing, tools of the trade and finally learn about Mocking and Stub objects. You will have both theory and hands on workshops that will sharpen your skills and challenge you.
Objectives
This course will enhance your application toolbox and development skills.
- Understand the theory and principles behind software testing
- Understand all types of testing and know when to apply them
- Review tools of the trade for TDD and CI (Continuous Integration)
- Everything you wanted to know about the MXUnit Framework
- Apply testing to your applications with a focus on ColdBox applications
- Understand Mocking/Stubbing and its applications via MockBox

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venue has a local shuttle and plenty of parking space available as well. We are extremely close to the MSP airport and shuttles can be provided.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You will need to bring your own laptop ( desktop is up to you :) ) ready with wither Adobe ColdFusion or Railo as your CFML engine. Please make sure that you have a working CF engine and Web Server in your machine. You will also require a local database for the hands on portions of the training. You will also need to bring some vitamins and plenty of energy, you will need it!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, but you will need to let us know with at least 2 weeks in advance.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, anytime you like.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but if you do, you might get some goodies!
What is the refund policy?
We will refund your entry fee with an administration fee of $200 if we have not ordered any materials for you. If you cancel after we have purchased materials for you the cancellation fee goes up to $500 per person.
