Hinoki & the Bird and La Cocina to present


Join "Top Chef" Melissa King as she brings her Co+Lab pop-up concept to Los Angeles, partnering with Hinoki & the Bird to host an unforgettable dining experience that also supports a great cause. A portion of proceeds will benefit La Cocina, a Bay Area organization that cultivates low-income food entrepreneurs as they grow their business, with a special focus on minority women. For this collaborative event, Chef Melissa has assembled a stellar team of local LA chefs, including Brooke Williamson, Mei Lin, Nyesha Arrington, Shirley Chung, and Hinoki's own Keiichi Kurobe, to create a seasonal six-course dinner.

This decadent meal is created in close collaboration with LA-based artisans - from locally grown vegetables and artisan cheese to wine and hand-crafted aprons, Angeleno craftsmanship will be on display with every bite. After dinner, we invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to meet and mingle with your favorite Top Chef Alumni!

For those 21 years of age and over, dinner will be complemented by wine. Hinoki & the Bird cocktails will also be available for purchase at the bar.

Co+Lab: Los Angeles tickets go on sale Monday, August 3rd at NOON. 

Please note: Co+Lab is a one-of-a-kind experience for the adventurous eater and unfortunately, we will not be able to accomodate special requests, substitutions, or dietary restrictions.
Please arrive by 6:30PM, as dinner service begins promptly at 7:00PM.
