Coil And Paint!
Event Information
Description
These sweet little coiled rope creations are super fun to make and pretty addictive once you know how to do it. Come and join us for a session with Jamie Hevener, founder of Sew Kart, Columbus’ mobile sewing/fiber arts lessons.
You will learn how to construct your choice of: a set of four coasters or a bowl, using rope and a sewing machine. Don’t worry if you haven’t sewn before, Jamie will be right there to give you a quick sewing tutorial and prep your machine so you can get started right away!
After that, you will have your choice of embellishing your creations and showing off your style with a variety of colorful paints, threads and tassels. Ages 14 and up. $15 for a one-hour reservation. All materials, supplies, tools and machines to borrow are included.
Skill requirements: None, really. We’ll set up the machines so you’ll be ready to sew and paint right away!

What's the refund policy?
If you should find yourself unable to attend after you've purchased a reservation one week prior to the event, please notify Jamie via email at sewkart@yahoo.com for a refund or 48 hours for credit towards another one of her workshops/classes. We cannot issue a refund once this window of time has passed. You may find another student to take your reservation, but that transaction will be between you and that student. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
You may purchase tickets for others, in fact these workshops make really thoughtful gifts.
