The Government Contracting SBDC is hosting our second 2014 networking breakfast for our clients and guests.
- Tamela J. Lee, VP, DFW International Airport, Business and Development Department will be our first speaker, discussing important topics on new business opportunities for small, woman-owned and minority-owned businesses.
- Ms. Jaime Toogood, a former Air Force Contracting officer and a current Air Force Reservist and small business consultant, will present information on the latest developments in Federal Acquisition and Program Management.
- Following the speakers, be prepared to give an informative "20 Second Elevator Pitch". This will be your opportunity to network with numerous other businesses, service organizations and government agencies.
Tamela will go over the basic steps on how to do business with DFW Airport. She will discuss the challenges and successes of those who have ventured into becoming a vendor or supplier of the Airport. Come hear Tamela talk about how the Airport has developed creative programs to address Supplier Diversity and ensuring more access to Airport contracts for all small businesses, including minority and women-owned firms.
