About this event
Nevada-licensed or emeritus-certified attorneys can earn 1.0 General Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit by attending in-person. All attorneys must have at least one active Children's Attorneys Project (CAP) case or take on at least one new CAP case to receive CLE credit. Select a case at www.lacsnprobono.org.
More often than not, a foster youth is part of a sibling group. The sibling relationship is sacred--it is fundamental to the foster youth’s recovery from trauma and can be a future connection for them. For the attorney, the siblings can be a source of conflicts, motion work, and negotiation. Join us as we discuss some of the nuances of sibling groups in abuse and neglect cases. Coffee and tea will be provided.
This program will be available in-person at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and presented by CAP attorneys.
