Description

Warm up with a cup of coffee and or hot chocolate and chat about the upcoming exhibition Joe Vitone: Family Records with Associate Curator Theresa Bembnister. Family Records is an ongoing series of portraits of Vitone’s extended family living in and around Akron, Ohio. Begun in 1998, this photographic series documents evolving interpersonal connections between parents and children, siblings, spouses, cousins and other relations through the highs and lows of life in the Rust Belt region.
