Event Details

London Leader, Deborah Rothenberg will be sharing ways to utilize used coffee grounds at home from face scrubs to fertilizer, from mulch to vermicasts

Barista, Povilas Petrauskas will unravel the mystery of the perfect cup of coffee - from bean to cup

Sailor and Scientist, and founder of New Dawn Traders, Dr Lucy Gilliam will retell her adventures sailing a tall ship to the Caribbean trading olive oil and wine for chocolate and rum.

Come and have some fun – bring a clean jar, a mixing bowl, a water-tight bag and a sense of fun.

How do we find Vagabond?

It's on Finsbury Park tube - WELLS TERRACE EXIT - opposite Tesco's on Stroud Green Road

Will there be alcohol?

Vagabond has no alcohol licence but they do great coffee, decaff and hot chocolate

Will there be food?

A small range of freshly made cafe fayre will be available at reasonable (non city) prices

Why do I need to bring a mixing bowl / plastic container?

We really are making natural body scrub, it's for you to mix & take some home

Is it really free?

Yes but there will be a voluntary collection to cover costs of body / face scrub ingredients that aren't free

We aim to share knowledge across both interest groups, coffee lovers and gardeners with a bit of adventerous sustainablity thrown into the mix at each live event.

Actively making London greener, shoot by shoot whlist reducing methane gas and landfill waste at the same time. Win win.
