Join us to learn more about our NEW Healthcare Leadership graduate program! Dr. Kim Byas Sr., PhD, MPH, FACHE, Regional Executive for the American Hospital Association, will be speaking on emerging healthcare topics, and how our new program will help create tomorrow's healthcare frontrunners. Dr. Jennifer Ossege, Program Director, and Dr. Nelson Soto, VP of Academic Affairs will also be discussing the unique mentorship model of the program, along with a focus on cohort learning that is ideal for healthcare groups looking to have their team work through the program together.

Kim Byas, Sr., PhD, MPH, FACHE
Regional Executive
American Hospital Association

As Regional Executive with the American Hospital Association, Dr. Byas works with hospitals in IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI on federal advocacy, health care system transformation, and health policy using nearly 40 years of health care leadership experiences in various settings—including direct patient care, public health, health insurance,
consulting, and policy.

Dr. Byas received his PhD in Ethical and Creative Leadership from Union Institute and University in Cincinnati; Master in Public Health from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and B.A. from Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

As a father of three young adults, Dr. Byas devotes personal time to conducting Grounded Theory research on leadership; teaching health care ethics to MBA students at Loyola University Chicago; and serving on boards of not-for-profit organizations such as Union Institute & University, the Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University, Asian Health Care Leaders Forum with ACHE, March of Dimes, Xavier University, and University of Illinois at Chicago.
