Event description
A discussion about high school graduation, how the deck is stacked against students of color, and what we can do about it.

About this Event

Washington state ranks 44th in graduation rates. Just 79.4% of students graduate on time. This rate is even lower for students of color: 62% for Native American students and 71.5% for African Americans.

Join Dr. Ben Danielson, Odessa Brown Medical Clinic Chief, for a conversation about how the deck is stacked against students of color—and how we can change the landscape.

You’ll also hear from United Way staff who manage donor investments in this area about what’s working and what’s not.
