Event description

Description

Following the introduction of the new computing curriculum at Key Stages 1,2 and 3 many schools still find themselves teaching computing for the first time. This monthly meeting / workshop aims to share good practice in a relaxed and informal setting whilst enjoying coffee and cake!

The sessions will include:

  • Show and tell
  • Opportunities to share resources
  • Getting started with the Raspberry Pi
  • Physical computing projects using the Raspberry Pi and micro:bit

As a certified Raspberry Pi educator I will also share many resources / ideas and tips on using the Pi in lessons and afterschool clubs.

There is no cost for this event and refreshments will be provided.

For safeguarding reasons all delegates will need to be over 18.

There is ample on-site parking available.
