In this context, “Science” is understood broadly to encompass mainstream science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and allied fields. “Christian Faith” includes Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant churches and denominations, or, in the words of C.S. Lewis, “Mere Christianity.” “Flourishing” is a biblical concept articulated by the Hebrew word shalom in the Old Testament and the Greek word makarios in the New Testament.
