Event description

Making a website, software, learning environment or mobile application accessible starts with good code. But understanding how what to do, when to do it and how to get it done isn't always easy. That's where "Coding to Meet WCAG" steps in.

A spin off of our most popular class, "Applying WCAG to Your Project," this 1 hour, code-intensive course will cover:

  • How accessible, and inaccessible code, impacts users living with sight, cognitive, hearing and mobility disabilities.

  • The most common inaccessible code issues and how to remedy them.

  • The opportunity to learn directly from WeCo's Team of Accessibility Specialists, all of whom live with one or more disabilities.

Developed upon request by our clients, we think you'll find this class to be an extremely practical and enlightening lunch hour of learning.

CLASS ACCESSIBILITY: Live captioning and presentation slides are available for this course. If you would like to more information, please contact WeCo at: accessinfo@theweco.com and place "Coding for WCAG Online Accessibility" in the subject line.

NOTE: WeCo does NOT facilitate refunds on our paid training classes. However, we are happy to exchange your tickets for another date or transfer them to another student at any time, for any reason. Please contact WeCo Operations for more information at the email address and phone number listed above.
