Coding for Community (CfC) is the first of its kind, state-wide civic tech competition in New Jersey. We're pairing municipalities with techies to develop real sustainable solutions for local public information and engagement issues through data and other technologies. Learn more at cfc.sustainablejersey.com.
The competition kicks off with an all day event on Jan 27th in Newark where potential tech solutions to local issues will be ideated and teams will form (program agenda below).
- Municipalities and techies can still participate even if they do not attend the kick off event. We will do our best to pair towns with team members after the Jan 27th event, and teams will have until Feb 12th to submit their project proposal online.
- You will be asked to indicate whether you plan to attend the kick off event or need to be paired with a team when you register.
- In order to participate in CfC, municipalities must be participating in the Sustainable Jersey program. Towns are asked to bring a specific public engagement issue that you need assistance addressing.
