Description

Younger students can get a taste of coding at this fun workshop. They'll practice fundamental coding skills with a variety of online and offline activities. Students will program basic animation games and enhance their problem solving skills.

Open to all students in grades 3, 4, and 5.

This workshop is led by Angelina Patel, a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying Computer Science and the Founder and CEO at Kids Code. Kids Code is an organization dedicated to making computer science accessible to students in low income communities. Angelina has been coding since her sophomore year of high school and loves to get others involved in the field.

Location: At Kramden Institute in Durham near RTP

All class materials will be provided along with snacks and water. If your child has special dietary restrictions, please send an appropriate snack along with them.
