Welcome to the CoderDojo Miami! We have a new series of sessions planned for Fall 2015 and we are excited to announce that FIU Tech Station will be hosting this time. The university recently unveiled FIU Tech Station, a state of the art facility designed to facilitate innovation, trainining and community engagement. CoderDojo will take advantage of this space, complete with software and hardware labs loaded with all the necessary equipment to complete projects.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of programming while building their very own game. By the end of the sessions, students will be able to install their games on their laptops or mobile devices. Does that sound interesting to you? If so, here is how you can help:
- We are looking for students in High School (accompanied by their parent) to participate in the learning experience.
- We are also looking for volunteers to help manage the sessions.
- In either case, no programming experience is required!
Our next session will continue where we left off - how to create and use functions!

About Us: We are a group of tech professionals and students who work and study in South Florida and believe young people should have free and open resources to learn computer programming. We are sponsored by Florida International University School of Computing and Information Sciences.
